Stockport Adult Social Care Communication and Engagement

I've added a short video talking about (and showing) work we're doing with Stockport Adult Social Care in developing a communication and engagement portal which enables their staff to use videos and blogs to communicate about the transformation programme in the directorate. We've got staff at all levels of the organisation, stakeholder staff, and service users all taking to the use of the Flip handheld video cameras. Two new publications

1. "EU Kids Online is delighted to announce the publication of its new book, "Kids Online: Opportunities and Risks for Children", edited by Sonia Livingstone and Leslie Haddon (Bristol: Policy Press). We also added a discussion topic in the forum above prompted by a face to face discussion with one of the sympos… Continue

And chances are that other people will find it useful.

If you ask me, that’s fa… Continue

Post-it issues

During the Human Services and the Network Society event we asked participants to use post-it notes to post messages about key practice, policy and research issues for human services in the network society.

Whether you were at the event or not you can now view, add to, comment and vote on the issues posted by visiting the website below. I'm afraid you'll have to log in to comment or add an issue (otherwise we would be quickly overwhelmed by spammers) but it's fairly straight… Continue
